School & Cadet Corps History
*A Brief History of Atorkor Technical Institute Army Cadet Corps*
The Atorkor Technical Institute Army Cadet Corps was established in 2015 under the leadership of the then Principal, Mr. Seth Stanley Yeboah.
The Corps started with Mr. Francis Behl as its first Master-In-Charge (M.I.C.), who laid the foundation for discipline, patriotism and youth leadership in the Institute.
After a period of active service, the activities of the Corps became dormant for some time.
The Corps was revived in September 2021 by Mr. Elorm Edson Egbenya, who was then the Administrator of the Institute, with the support and encouragement of the then Principal, Mrs. Abigail Shardey Ayeh. The revival began with 20 student cadets.
Since its revival, the Corps has grown steadily in strength, discipline and influence. Today, the Corps boasts a population of 90+ student cadets.
The current administration of the Corps is under Mr. Deodatus Kofi Numatekpor as the Master-In-Charge (M.I.C.), and under the overall leadership of the current Principal, Ms. Emelia A. Asigri.
The Corps continues to live by its motto: Dertemination, Bravery, Discipline.
